The market celebrates our agricultural heritage in this beautiful area. We also have delicious cooked food\, packaged food products and beautiful handmade crafts from locals. \nThe market has several special events just for fun (be sure and check our Community Calendar)\, and to raise awareness of our community’s wonderful seasonal produce. Be sure to market your calendar for our hilarious Zucchini races\, the great Pumpkin Festival carving contests\, and other kid friendly and family fun events! Cooking demos\, live music and more is always happening as our season progresses. DESCRIPTION:Healdsburg’s July 4th Famous Festive Fireworks Finale is AWESOME!!!\nHealdsburg’s 4th of July Fireworks celebration is one of the most amazing and exciting you’ll ever see! Truly an exceptional array of fireworks\, lighting\, and effects that seems to go on for hours! Every year\, just when you think they’ve fired-off the Grand Finale\, the explosive excitement just keeps on rolling! It’s just incredible to see the show our great American Legion puts on year-after year…. (Thank You Folks!!!) \n  \n\n  \nHelpful Tips: You’ll want to bring along a jacket\, some chairs or a blanket\, something to sip on\, and maybe a flashlight. Then simply ‘follow the huge crowd’ headed towards Healdsburg High School. Seating is all around the block\, and the display is fired-off over the football field\, so wherever you are\, you’ll have a good view. \nBe sure to be respectful of our neighbors\, as many have private parties on their lawns (that may be mistaken for open seating). Ask before you sit on someone’s lawn\, and be sure not to block anyone’s driveway if you drive. If you have a large crowd or someone with special needs\, you may want to chauffeur folks up to the event\, then park nearby\, walk over and join them. \n  \nFor Kids – if you have little ones\, be sure to drop by the Dollar Tree Store and pick up some glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces. Little ones love wearing them (and you can easily spot them in a crowd). \n\nRemember For Everyone’s Safety NO Personal fireworks are allowed! DESCRIPTION:Healdsburg’s Annual Duck Dash and 4th of July Parade!!\nHealdsburg’s 4th of July Independence Day fun starts with our Annual Sunrise Rotary Duck Dash and Kiddy Bike Parade\, held in Healdsburg’s Fountain Square Plaza. This wonderful kid’s event continues to be a major attraction for Healdsburg community to celebrate the founding of our nation.  There will be live music and activities for all including; games\, races\, face painting\, and special guest appearances from Uncle Sam\, and live bands! \nDress up your cars or bikes and your kids in festive 4th of July attire and join us at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday\, July 4th at the Healdsburg Community Center where the City’s fire and police departments and Sunrise Rotary will welcome Healdsburg’s youth for a drive-through July 4th goodie bag pickup. Youngsters are encouraged to dress in costume; arrive on bikes\, tri-cycles and wagons adorned with red\, white and blue decorations. \n▶️  Click here to see what it was like last year! \nThroughout the day enjoy Duck Dash Races organized and promoted by Healdsburg Sunrise Rotary. Dave Hamilton is a multi-award winning songwriter with the West Coast Songwriters Association. In 2017 and 2018 he won the Norbay Music award having been voted best singer/songwriter of the year.in the Northbay Bohemian and Pacific Sun weekly journals. Dave plays mostly in the Folk/Americana genres with a bit of country\, bluegrass\, ragtime and acoustic blues. He plays numerous venues throughout the San Francisco North Bay mixing his originals with covers of some of his favorite songwriters such Bob Dylan\, John Prine\, Jesse Winchester\, Townes Van Zandt\, Mississippi John Hurt\, Gordon Lightfoot\, Tom Russell and many others.
