DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nAki Kumar Blues Band at The Elephant in the Room Pub in Healdsburg\nAki Kumar left his home in Mumbai with the intention of working as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. Then he discovered the blues\, and his life dramatically changed. The accomplished singer-songwriter-guitarist lives in San Francisco’s North Bay where he performs\, records and teaches. \nEarly in his career\, Adam honed his craft as an original member of Robert Fripp’s League of Crafty Guitarists. He joined Fripp\, founding member of progressive rock band King Crimson\, and had the unique opportunity to work with the quirky British maestro\, to tour and record throughout Britain\, Europe and in the Middle East\, culminating with recording sessions at Abbey Road Studio in London. DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nThe Lowest Pair at The Elephant in the Room Pub in Healdsburg\nKendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee are two kindred spirits who first met on the banks of the Mississippi while touring the Midwest festival circuit. Born and raised in Arkansas\, Winter found herself drawn to the evergreens and damp air of the Pacific Northwest\, as well as the boundless music scene of Olympia\, Washington. She released three solo records on Olympia-based indie label\, K Records\, and performed in ramblin’ folk bands and anarchic punk bands before serendipitously meeting Palmer T. Lee in 2013. Lee had built his first banjo when he was 19 from pieces he inherited and began cutting his teeth fronting Minneapolis string bands before convincing Winter that they should form a banjo duo. DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nCome run the Healdsburg Fitch Mountain Footrace 2022\n\nBenefiting the Healdsburg Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship Fund\n\nThe Healdsburg Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship Fund\, in association with Kiwanis Club of Healdsburg\, is proud to announce the 46th running/walking of the Fitch Mountain Footrace. The purpose of this annual family event is to raise scholarship money to fund college scholarships for our local high school seniors. Each year over $10\,000 in scholarships is awarded to our local kids. This event not only benefits the students of our community\, but it also a great time for people to gather for some fun morning activities with the family. \nThe run takes place in the Heart of Sonoma County’s Wine Country; Healdsburg. Both the 10K and 3K courses begin and end at the Historic Healdsburg Downtown Plaza. Come and enjoy a day in the wine country with great restaurants\, world class wineries\, and the beautiful Russian River. The 10K course travels through quaint neighborhoods and then out around the challenging Fitch Mountain along the Russian River\, finally ending back downtown.
