As he and his cavalry passed through the towns\, villagers lined the streets to toss them bottles of Champagne in celebration. Unable to open the bottles by hand from their horses\, the soldiers simply struck them open using their sabers. \nIn the Breathless sabrage experience\, receive one-on-one instruction from our experienced guide who will teach you the proper technique of opening a bottle of Champagne using impact from the blunt side of a saber. DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \n“Hanging Out” Art Exhibit in Healdsburg\nLocal artist\, Tosya Shore\, presents Hanging Out\, a collection of watercolor paintings from her unique Laundry Series. The artist loves wandering through the back streets of European towns\, snapping images of laundry flapping in the breeze. She then translates these images to paintings that take the viewer to these niches of vibrant color and life. Fluid shapes of laundry dance against background geometric forms. “I love the juxtaposition of the architectural shapes against the flopping shapes of laundry\,” noted Shore. This series was inspired by a scene in Rovinj\, Croatia. \nShore’s love for her medium\, watercolor\, shines forth in her spirited\, bright bold work. Over twenty years ago\, she began painting and credits her teachers with helping her persevere. The artist loves wandering through the back streets of European towns\, snapping images of laundry flapping in the breeze. She then translates these images to paintings that take the viewer to these niches of vibrant color and life. Fluid shapes of laundry dance against background geometric forms. “I love the juxtaposition of the architectural shapes against the flopping shapes of laundry\,” noted Shore. This series was inspired by a scene in Rovinj\, Croatia. \nShore’s love for her medium\, watercolor\, shines forth in her spirited\, bright bold work. Over twenty years ago\, she began painting and credits her teachers with helping her persevere. DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nThe Art of Sabrage! An Outdoor Winery Experience at Breathless Wines\nWe love all the rituals of champagne\, from the release of the wire cage to that first effervescent pour. But the most exciting ceremony is the traditional art of sabrage\, using an authentic saber to open a bottle of sparkling wine. The legend behind sabrage is connected to The French Revolution when Napoleon\, a noted fan of Champagne\, would take victorious rides through the countryside. As he and his cavalry passed through the towns\, villagers lined the streets to toss them bottles of Champagne in celebration. Unable to open the bottles by hand from their horses\, the soldiers simply struck them open using their sabers. \nIn the Breathless sabrage experience\, receive one-on-one instruction from our experienced guide who will teach you the proper technique of opening a bottle of Champagne using impact from the blunt side of a saber. DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \n“Hanging Out” Art Exhibit in Healdsburg\nLocal artist\, Tosya Shore\, presents Hanging Out\, a collection of watercolor paintings from her unique Laundry Series. The artist loves wandering through the back streets of European towns\, snapping images of laundry flapping in the breeze. She then translates these images to paintings that take the viewer to these niches of vibrant color and life. Fluid shapes of laundry dance against background geometric forms. “I love the juxtaposition of the architectural shapes against the flopping shapes of laundry\,” noted Shore. This series was inspired by a scene in Rovinj\, Croatia. \nShore’s love for her medium\, watercolor\, shines forth in her spirited\, bright bold work. Over twenty years ago\, she began painting and credits her teachers with helping her persevere. The legend behind sabrage is connected to The French Revolution when Napoleon\, a noted fan of Champagne\, would take victorious rides through the countryside. As he and his cavalry passed through the towns\, villagers lined the streets to toss them bottles of Champagne in celebration. Unable to open the bottles by hand from their horses\, the soldiers simply struck them open using their sabers. \nIn the Breathless sabrage experience\, receive one-on-one instruction from our experienced guide who will teach you the proper technique of opening a bottle of Champagne using impact from the blunt side of a saber. You’ll also receive that same bottle of Breathless Sparkling Wine\, newly opened by your own hand\, to enjoy on the property. \n☑️ Events may require Reservations or have COVID restrictions.
