Hanna Winery
In the late 1970s Dr. Hanna and his daughter Christine began making homemade wine from the 12 acres that Dr. Hanna owned in the Russian River Valley. The Hanna winery was officially founded in 1985, by Dr. Elias Hanna (the world-famous cardiac surgeon), and is run today by his daughter Christine. The winery has become a great producer of Sauvignon Blanc, estate Burgundy, and Bordeaux varietals.
Hanna Winery has exceptional views from its wraparound balcony which embraces its modern, comfortable, contemporary-style tasting room. It has a stately appeal, with a fireplace indoors and relaxing tables covered with umbrellas outdoors.
