GrapeSeed Wines at The Moss Lounge was grafted into the Paul Mahder International Art Gallery landscape seven years ago, when a quiet group of wine artisans blended their passion for softer, more subtle varietals. Their heart to become a benchmark for exceptional boutique wines flows smoothly into every glass. Wine maker Matt Smith, inspired by his beloved grandfather’s eternal love for the wines of his Italian homeland, began nurturing his Sassoferrato brand before GrapeSeed began. As GrapeSeed blossomed, taking root in this prestigious gallery, the art and wines harmonized. Were the wines woven by this master winemaker inspired by the art, or were the works of art drawing inspiration from these wines?

Such is the beauty of GrapeSeed. Something so small, a vision infused with an indomitable spark given a boy by his grandfather, now lives on where art and wine are one.

GrapeSeed is comfortably suited to accommodate groups with as many as thirty guests. Their venue is also a select location for weddings and all other celebrations of life. Tastings are at your own pace, and GrapeSeed’s tasting hosts enjoy helping tasters grow in their wisdom of wines and viticulture. Tastings are $30 per person, and The Moss Lounge is open from 11:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday to Sunday. Friday open until 8:00pm with live music and complimentary nibbles, and with wine by the glass available.
