San Francisco Indie Rock band Go By Ocean shares with us today the incredible new single and video for “Nightmares.” The first release from the outfit in quite a while, the music and writing is stronger than ever. Spearheaded by singer and songwriter Ryan McCaffrey, his storytelling approach helps to bring the piece to life…which immediately makes Go By Ocean a household name. The video and song go together perfectly as one carries the other throughout. ““Nightmares” is essentially about our subconscious playing out in our dreams,” says McCaffrey. “How our minds deal with fear, jealousy, resentment and many other unsettled emotions. For me, some of these nightmares have become a reality when these issues haven’t been processed. However, the greater message in this song is hope and transcendence. Making the best effort to work through these infections of the mind and find peace.”
