Sky Eyes – Tuesday Plaza Concerts

Sky Eyes is an infectious, genre-blending musical project led by a charismatic Caribbean artist hailing from the island of Martinique. Known for injecting a fresh energy into the West Coast live music scene, the band seamlessly bridges the gap between traditional roots reggae, modern hip-hop, and slick jazz improvisations. Backed by a rotating, tight-knit collective of some of the region’s finest reggae musicians, Sky Eyes delivers a performance that is both deeply relaxing and undeniably danceable. Rather than sticking strictly to old-school purist reggae, they confidently incorporate island vibes, rap, and smooth urban textures to create a contemporary, accessible sound.

HiH Hint: You can reserve your spot by setting out chairs after 4pm. Bring a jacket and a hat, because once the sun ducks behind the buildings along Healdsburg Avenue the temperature drops faster than a rap artist’s mic. Oh yeah, ear plugs may be handy to have around. Food is always nearby. Clean bathrooms are a half-block away at the Healdsburg Police Department (238 Center Street), and if you have trouble finding it just cause a ruckus and nice police officers will personally escort you there.
