A mellow blend of Folk/Americana music. Ten originals and three covers. Dave Hamilton is a multi-award winning songwriter with the West Coast Songwriters Association. In 2017 and 2018 he won the Norbay Music award having been voted best singer/songwriter of the year.in the Northbay Bohemian and Pacific Sun weekly journals. Dave plays mostly in the Folk/Americana genres with a bit of country, bluegrass, ragtime and acoustic blues. He plays numerous venues throughout the San Francisco North Bay mixing his originals with covers of some of his favorite songwriters such Bob Dylan, John Prine, Jesse Winchester, Townes Van Zandt, Mississippi John Hurt, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Russell and many others. He plays, solo, as a duo, as a trio and occasionally, a quartet.
