Bollywood Kitchen brings a new view to Healdsburg’s restaurant scene with a milder, softer approach to South Asian cuisine. Specializing in gentler Indian , Nepalese and Tibetan dishes, owners Tek KC and Arjun KC have made their mark on our town’s culinary culture. “We want people to be able to enjoy exotic wholesome meals, and still be able to savor wine tasting afterward”, says Tek, who is always there welcoming people. “So we begin with ‘mild in mind’ and only turn up the heat to the degree a customer wishes.”

Tek mastered the art of making meals exceptional while growing up helping his parents prepare feasts for family and friends. “We were always welcoming guests back home in Nepal, and sharing good food was always the highlight of our family’s hospitality. My parents engrained in me a passion for making friends feel like family with our food.”

Bollywood Kitchen’s emphasis is on wholesome homemade meals, using only the healthiest vegetables and ingredients, lightly seasoned with spices they roast and hand-grind themselves (some of which are old family secrets). Once mingled with shrimp, lamb, fish, or chicken imbued entrees, and simmered to perfection in authentic clay ovens, they’re served with soups or salads and fresh breads. Subtle sensations of ginger, cumin, cardamom, coriander, turmeric, garlic, and cilantro inspire these delicacies, where every meal is made from scratch when you order.
