Alexander Valley

Established in 1975, Linda and Hank Wetzel started Alexander Valley Vineyards. The land had originally been purchased in 1962 when they fell in love with the Ranch’s beauty, rolling hills and soft meadows, bordered by creeks and filled with ample wildlife. The wine is as important to them as the land itself and they work hard to preserve its natural beauty.

For parties of less than 10 people tasting is complimentary, with a charge of $15 per person when the groups are larger than 10 guests. Reservations are required for private tasting, where guests can enjoy samples of award-winning wines, discover the estate, and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding landscape from our tasting room’s comfort.

Alexander Valley Vineyards tasting room has a country flare, with its wraparound porch and comfortable tables and chairs throughout. Surrounded by oak barrels, which only add to the ambience of the winery itself, its tasting room is comfortable and has a very casual, warm and welcoming feel. They specialize in cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, zinfandel, and petite sirah varietals.
