Chateau Diana
This casual, chic winery and tasting room is definitely for Millennials, or anyone who wants to feel young again! From ‘slushy wines’ to a court yard area filled with games, and lots of comfortable lounging. This is one fun hot spot!
Château Diana was established in 1981 in the Dry Creek Valley near Healdsburg. Tom Manning named the winery after his wife, because he wanted it to reflect her relaxing personality, and depth in her love of wine.
Relaxing on their patio you can overlook the beautiful Dry Creek Valley, which is one of the premier grape growing regions of California. The winery, before Tom’s purchase, had been a local farm for over hundred years where hops and prunes were produced, before finally becoming the home of such exceptional grapes.
The tasting room opened in 2012 during the month of January, and reflects the family-owned heart that is this winery.
Very unique, exuberant feel to this winery. With a great array of yard games, fun tasting room and the only winery with “wine slushies”, it is also one of only a few wineries with semi-sweet wines.
