Healdsburg Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade

Halloween’s Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade in Healdsburg is one of our town’s favorite events this time every year. The dog costume parade annually held by our local Humane Society Chapter and Chamber of Commerce is a special event we always have on our October Happenings Calendar. Held at our lovely Healdsburg Plaza, this canine carnival is well-known for family fun throughout Sonoma County. Local businesses provide prizes for the costume contest – which is always a hard task, when it comes to picking winners outta’ this annual litter of champions!

2021’s Howl-O-Ween extravaganza was as advertised, even though it was raining dogs outside fur a’ bit (no cats allowed). The playful pack o’ pooches all got along, played well together and the winners were crowned, as they basked in the howling praise of fellow canine contestants’ chorus of congratulations! All-in-all the show was a real treat, as we make way together to this year’s trick-or-treat finale!
