Rodney Strong Vineyards
Established over 55 years ago, an American dancer named Rod Strong opened what was only the 13th winery to be bonded in the Sonoma County wine industry. In 1989 the Klein family purchased the winery and moved it into a new direction, endeavoring to embrace the modern artistry of winemaking. Since then, Rodney Strong Vineyards has received many honors and is critically acclaimed for its single vineyard and reserve wines. It was named Wine Enthusiasts American Winery of the year in 2013.
Rodney Strong Vineyards tasting room has unique features, with its wraparound deck inside the building which allows you to see various and beautiful stages of the winery process. When you visit be sure and ask for Alex Sexton, a very knowledgeable yet casual wine tasting concierge.
