The Russian River Rose Company was born from a desire to get back to the basics of life – not only when it came to raising roses, but also when raising children. So Michael and Jan moved in 1976 to the Healdsburg area and began raising both.
Today, their Russian River Rose Company has become one of the brightest, most beautiful and aromatic places to liven one’s senses in all of Healdsburg. With over 650 different styles and breeds of roses filling their gardens and farm, a gentle stroll through their floral garden is a delight to the senses.
Come experience all the love and hard work Michael and Jan have infused into their magnificent sanctuary of roses.
Michael and Jan are always available to answer questions and help you if you’re planting or tending roses in your own garden. They also have tours during their Perfume Rose Harvest, a large nursery to visit from April through May as well as special events in the Autumn, and a Display Garden with eight arches parading over six hundred varieties of roses in full bloom. All making for a gorgeous composition of splendor to behold.
