Family picnics are a past time that flourishes here in Healdsburg. With so many parks, meadows, and beautiful sunny and shady spots to select from, it’s just one of those simple pleasures that fills our days here. Between our deeply rooted sense of community, the beauty of nature that wraps around this entire area, and the wonderful fruits and vegetables produced from the rich soil that rolls through the hills of Northern California, family picnics are simply a way of life that we love.
There are several parks, several with picnic tables and even barbecue pits, and softly grassed meadows that gently roll under majestic shade trees. Your family is sure to enjoy a wonderful time together relaxing under the crystal clear blue skies and clouds that sail by. In fact, this is such a beautiful, natural wonderland that you might easily see deer and other wildlife as you sit and relax and enjoy some fruit on a fine day.
Some of our parks are quietly tucked away in secluded areas where you may have the entire park to yourselves, even on weekends.
