Badger Park Riverwalk
Badger Park is an 11-acre stretch of meadow which has a Riverwalk trail that starts on the east side of the Park. Hiking this small walking trail near Healdsburg reveals views of the Russian River and Fitch Mountain.
Along this scenic trail you’ll find a few small paths to the Russian River.
The park has picnic tables, child safety playground area, beautifully manicured field, walking and jogging track, enclosed dog area, and free parking. Dogs are allowed on a leash, or in the ‘free range’ dog area on the east side of the parking area. They’re allowed to roam free on the Riverwalk Trail. DIRECTIONS: Take Mathison Street East – continue past the Stop Sign on 1st Street – the next Stop Sign you come to is Heron Drive – Turn Right onto Heron Drive – that road will quickly curve left, and as it does the entrance to Badger Park will be immediately on your Right – Turn Right and park! (easy peasy)
NOTE: you’ll easily see the beautifully manicured field from the Badger Park parking lot. As you walk toward that field, you’ll come upon the jogging and walking track. Once you’re on that track, simply Turn Left and follow the track to the southeast corner of the field, and Riverwalk Trail’s path will be immediately on your left (right after the children’s playground).
