Foothills Park Lake Near Healdsburg

Foothills Regional Park

Located just southeast of Healdsburg, Foothills Regional Park is a 211-acre park of oak savanna features 3 small fishing lakes, grassy meadows, wonderful vistas and approximately 7 miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. This is an excellent option for hiking near Healdsburg.

“You’ll be surprised at the remote feel of this lovely park once you stroll in.”

Three Lakes Trail is a gravel, wheelchair-accessible trail with gated parking, restrooms, and a picnic area. Dogs are allowed, but they must be on a leash. Get your printable “Healdsburg Hiking Guide” with maps, helpful tips and more.

DIRECTIONS: take Old Redwood Highway south out of Healdsburg — at the stop sign (Eastside Road) go forward under the train overpass — at the next stop light, turn left (east) onto Arata Lane — follow Arata Lane and just after you drive past Elsbree Lane (T’s in on your right) the road will curve to your right — just as the road straightens you’ll want to slow down and park along the roadside — entrance to Foothills Park is on your left, just after that curve. Parking is free along the roadside, and there’s typically ample natural shade for your car (nice for in Summer).

Foothills Park address:  1351 Arata Ln, Windsor, CA 95492
