Healdsburg Wineries

Thomas George Estates
Among Healdsburg’s most beautiful wineries, and one of Healdsburg’s most dog-friendly wineries, Thomas George Estates has a singular charm. Originally, a hop kiln in the 1920s, it was later converted into one of the Russian River Valley’s earliest wineries. Some of the grenache noir, pinot noir and chardonnay vines still produce fruit from the vineyards initially planted here in the 1970s. Thomas Baker acquired the estate and opened Thomas George Estates in 2008.
With three lovely options for overnight arrangements, two elegant wine caves, and a collection of distinctive wines, it’s become a preferred destination for wine tasters looking to experience something special in a wine country excursion.
Thomas George Estates’ tasting room is an elegant stone Château-style cottage with vibrant architecture and a crisp contemporary feel. The surrounding landscape’s lush, rolling greenery adds serenity and depth to an alluring experience that’s at once soothing and inspiring.
Thomas George Estates is a destination with distinction.
